Substitute Day!

Good afternoon everyone!

Thank you in advance for being awesome for the substitute.

Four things things for you to know:

1. Nick O (today), Joe (from last time), and Kenny...all opening moments NEXT time.

2. After practicing your hard news skills and your straight leads, it's now time to look closer at feature articles.  Truly, features are the majority of the stories you will be covering when writing for The Falcon Outlet here at school.  Consider the handout a "scavenger hunt" of sorts; you are welcome to work with a partner or alone to complete this activity.  The substitute should have hard copies of the handout, but if you want it digitally, here it is.

3.  Sorry...no trivia today! Not to worry, we will have MEGA trivia on Tuesday.

4. Read the next section of In Cold Blood for Tuesday: Pages 224-250
