    Love Letter

Dear boy who sits across from me in chemistry,
I am yet to know your name but I know your soul from looking deep into those luscious blue eyes. Everytime I look at you your smile brings butterflies into my stomach. Your voice sends warmth over my skin like a cozy sweater. You make my knees wobble. You make my hands quiver. You take my breath away when you ask to copy my homework. I want so badly for you to acknowledge me, but until then my lust for will only grow.
Love the other side of your chemistry table

How we manipulated diction was by using words to show the how the girl admired the boy
How we manipulated syntax was by we used short sentences to show strength.
We used figurative language by using similes

    Dear Susie,

I love playing tag at recess. I purposely get tagged so I can chase you around. My love for you is the same as my love for chicken nuggets. I wish I could eat snack with you everyday for the rest of my life. Im even willing to give you some of my chicken nuggets because I care. If you ever get scared at naptime, I will protect you from the evil monsters in the closet at the corner of the room. I hope that you like me back, because that would be the coolest thing in the world.

  5. Dearest Violet,
I just found out that the war is over! I can finally come home to you and sleep in a comfortable bed not in this godforsaken bunker with all these old farts called soldiers. Oh and the food was horrible! It had the texture of toothpaste, I was injured for a week and they force fed me to keep me going, at first I refused but then I thought of you my dear with your cherry blonde hair and green eyes. But don't fret your young prince shall return home unscathed for it was just a flesh wound that ended the life of my left pinky. I'm sorry to make you worry for me but we needed the money and before this war there were no jobs. I was sleeping in the slums and train hoping to get around. You're as beautiful as the flag I rose on the beach during D-Day.

    Your love,
    General.
