ICB Day #4 Conversation/Leads


Example:
Straight: Mr. James Wolf was found dead in a boiling kettle of water yesterday, after reportedly destroying the homes of three young pigs. No motive has been found for the destroying of these homes.
Descriptive: Three little pigs were found to be distressed after the big bad wolf blew down their three respective homes with just the power of his breath.
Quotation: “I knew he was coming, you can hear him from a mile away,” said the first little pig, the inhabitant of the straw home, “He’s just such an angry creature you know?”
Question: How would you feel if you found the monster that blew down your home, dead in a boiling kettle of water? That is the dilemma these three little pigs face.

    Straight lead: While walking through the woods today, on her way to her grandmothers house, Little Red was attacked by the big bad wolf where she was sub sequentially eaten by the wolf pretending to be her dear grandmother in her grandmothers own cottage

    Descriptive Lead: While visiting her grandmother, little red notices many features which seem very peculiar for a grandmother which eventually lead Little Red to realize that her dear old grandmother is gone and the big bad wolf is present

    Quotation lead: "I was just so hungry, I could have eaten a bear! Instead I settled for a grandmother."

    Question lead: do you consider yourself deliciously scrumptious? Red riding hood sure didn't but the big bad wolf thought differently.

  2. Three little pigs

    Straight:
    The big bad wolf destroyed two houses of a family of pigs November 18th in the small town of Swine. Trying to destroy a third house he was outsmarted by the pigs and fell into a boiling pot of water while trying to enter the house from the chimney.

    Descriptive:
    Three pigs sat down and dined to a dinner of wolf stew, on a cold winter night.

    Quotation:
    "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down."

    Question:
    What would you do if a big bad wolf came to your house and tried to kill you?

  3. Strait: Yesterday evening Little Red Riding Hood (Little Red) and her grandmother were saved from the Big Bad Wolf by a kindly lumberjack. Earlier that day the grandmother had been eaten so that the wolf could pose her and eat Little Red, who was deliver bread, fruit and flowers to her grandmother.

    Descriptive: An unsuspecting grandmother allowed her granddaughter into her house so that she could accept the gifts she was brought. Unfortunately, she was mistaken and the grandaughter was actually a wolf who swallowed her whole and dressed up as her. He then waited for little Red to show up so that he would get a second meal. When Little Red shows up he lures her into the bedroom and acts as the grandmother, having to dispel Little Reds, observations of his weird looks. He then ate the young girl, but all hope was not lost. A lumberjack figured out what had happened, and confronted the wolf. In the end he chopped the wolf up so the grand,other and Little Red could escape.

    Quotation: "What a big mouth you have. The better to eat you with! [eats Little Red]"

    Question: Do you know your family well enough to tell them apart from impersonators? Little Red didn't, and almost lost her life because of it.

  4. Straight lead- Snow White was chased away from her home by a hunter trying to get her heart on May 27th, 2001 in Greenland. The hunter was ordered to kill her because the evil queen wanted her heart and jealous of her beauty. Snow White met a handsome prince and ran away from him. She later met seven dwarfs who she lived with. The evil queen gave Snow White a poison apple on June 12th, sending her into a "sleeping death". On June 13th, the handsome princes saved her with a kiss.

    Descriptive lead- Snow White ran through a meadow and was followed by the hunter, who was sent to cut out her heart with a dagger. The hunter couldn't do it, so he let her go and she ran into the forest, tripping and falling on her face. She was led through the forest by several adorable animals. She came across a little hut where seven singing dwarfs lived. They sheltered her in exchange for her maid services. Her story continues after the dummy gets a poisen apple and takes a bite.

    Quotation lead- (quote from the mirror) "the queen is the ugliest woman I have ever seen. She looks like death itself and face, ugh, don't get me started. She looks like a raisin, I think my glass almost broke when she looked into it.

    Question lead- what would you do if seven little dwarfs asked you to make them a sandwhich

  5. Straight: after hours of a wolf trying to force his way into the house of three little pigs, he was tricked and allowed into the house to only be savagely attack, mutilated, and eaten by the the pigs. The pigs were not arrested for it was believed to be self defense.


    Descriptive: the big bad wolf counted to five loudly and clearly and huffed and puffed. Blew the house down.


    Quotation: I'll huff and puff and run your house down


    Question: what would you do if your house was being attacked by a wolf?

  6. Straight lead: At 7 this morning, two children were going to get water for their parents. When tragically they fell down Bradbury Hill. Both were hurt, but one was in critical condition.
    Descriptive lead: Jack and Jill, climbing up Bradbury Hill on a sunny day in July. Jack stepped on a slippery stone and fell and rolled down the hill. Jill tried to catch him and she fell also and went rolling down the hill.
    Quotation lead: "The journey for the water didn't turn out how we wanted it to." Jack said the day after he broke his crown.
    Question lead: What happens when two kids go to fetch water for their parents?
