To what extent is Perry a tragic hero?
ReplyDeleteOnce out of jail he tried to change his ways and become a better person. He was staying within the restraints of his parol, trying to move on away from his criminal life. When he was with Dick you can see he questions his morals, but he still goes through with committing the murder of the Clutter family. He is a tragic hero because his flaw is not being afraid of killing people, and the consequences of committing a crime. Also not listening to his gut.
How does an act if fate change Perry's future?
ReplyDeletePerry originally went to Kansas to meet up with his old friend, Willy Jay. When he got to his destination he had just missed Willy Jay. Since Willy Jay wasn't there, Perry decided to go through with the "score" with Dick. Thus changing his future. - Joe and Luke
